Tocaya Design CEO, Tina Trevino is named VP for Latin Biz Today, a company created with the purpose of supporting the Latino community and helping their businesses thrive.
Starting in January 2023, Latin Biz Today will be launching a monthly column from fashion entrepreneur, Tina Trevino.

With over 25 years in the fashion industry, she’s worked with companies like Macy’s, Sak’s 5th Ave., Nordstrom, Target, HSN/QVC and worked with celebrities like Brooke Shields, Wendy Williams, Nicki Minaj and Adam Levine to launch their fashion labels.
Today Tina is the owner and CEO of Tocaya Design, a company that designs, sources and produces fashion for well known companies like Calvin Klein, DKNY, Karl Lagerfeld, Fashion Nova, David’s Bridal, NY&Co. and Fashion to Figure.
Her expertise and knowledge of the fashion business gives her the inside edge on conversations about how the fashion industry has evolved over the years, the hottest fashion and color trends, style tips for busy Latina professionals, and how to build your wardrobe. She’ll also be giving a behind the scenes look at the ins and outs of the fashion business.

Tocaya is a Spanish word meaning namesake or a close friend and that's exactly what I envision for this brand, something that represents myself and how I want to dress for the busy on the go lifestyle I lead as well as all the other amazing women who are my closest friends who are also juggling various activities throughout their busy days.
With a long and exciting career in the fashion industry, having been the creative designer for many brands, designers and celebrities, I am finally running my own fashion company. I've been inspired by all the fabulous people I've met along my fashion journey who have been supporters and convinced me to start my own company.
It’s been quite the learning experience maneuvering through the challenges that the past few years have given us all. Tocaya has evolved from a fashion brand, to a private label design & development company, a home goods design resource, and an outlet to share fashion insight via Latin Biz Today.
Tocaya is something I’m truly passionate about, that is true to me and is exactly what I want to design and wear. Hopefully Tocaya is something you will feel the same way about. Happy shopping!
